Vocational Training

Vocational training activities were introduced to the center initially as small training for girls in Wool knitting and Jewelry making. Later on, the center received funding from MOPIC (Ministry of planning and international cooperation) to establish a small sewing workshop for industrial leather bags. The workshop could accommodate 6 students and have a resident trainer who works on providing vocational training activities and produce school bags upon order, which help generating small amount of funds to the center.

 

Currently, all students above the age of 16 years’ old who are mentally and physically capable, are provided with Vocational training in knitting or sewing to prepare them for the job market.
